The way we work - Our Concept
Our main aim is to guarantee a superior individual quality of education and care and thereby to ensure the optimum development of each child.Living abroad we are challenged to embrace change and the unknown and to give our children the necessary orientation in the new living environment.The basis of our work is to create a sound social environment for children who are growing up bi- or trilingual as well as for sol ely German speaking children who are subjected to frequent change of country and change of housing.A specific focus of our work with the children is the conveying of social values.
Every teacher of our Kindergarten will provide every child with the necessary love, warmth and safety.
At the same time each child is encouraged to express its own needs, wishes, interests and to contribute its own abilities.
Development of social contacts
In our Kindergarten each child is seen and accepted as an individual and we aim to pay tribute to its needs and its development level. In the daily routine, in the free play and in specifically planned activities, the children’s way of life, their individualism in terms of personality and development have absolute priority.
We encourage the children to collect their own experiences, to expand their horizons, to develop specific abilities and skills, to help them to understand their world and to help them to find their place in their environment.
Within the group the children learn to develop contacts and with increasing age they gain a necessary measure of independence and maintain warm relationships with all children in the group.
With an emphasis on continuous improvement and development we work with the children to develop their linguistic, physical and mental abilities.
The overall framework of our curriculum is set by the four seasons and the German customs, traditions and holidays.
